In an idyllic location with views of the church and open countryside, Church Cottage is a deceptively large, detached, thatched, traditional cottage in the heart of the Norfolk Broads National Park, and is the perfect base from which to explore this stunning area, as well as the coast. Inside you will find a bright and comfortable interior including an open coal fire and a spacious, but cosy, living room. The village of Catfield is a peaceful and friendly location with a pub and village shop for all your essentials. Norfolk is renowned for its flat landscape, making it perfect for exploring on foot or by bike with many routes taking you through the Norfolk Broads, nature reserves and quaint little villages. The nature reserves of Catfield Fen, Hickling Broad and How Hill are close by. Further afield to the east you will find Great Yarmouth for a quintessential British seaside town experience, and inland to the west, Norwich, a fine city with cathedral, castle and plenty of shopping. The pretty, sandy beaches of Winterton and Sea Palling are a few miles away on the North Norfolk Coast, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where you can enjoy the beach and, in summer, the family can bathe. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
